Evermore, Nevermore (Yang and Jakob)

Why the hell was he here? This place was a bad accident waiting to happen. Not that he was scared or anything. Oh, no. Awesome people like him were never scared! Haha! But, seriously, this place was bad news. The construction hadn't even been finished for whatever they were originally making. They were probably just digging now, disrupting the natural habitats of many Pokemon.

Ruby red eyes stared out at the tunnel, narrowing in disgust. It was way too dark in here, even if he was supposed to stay out of the sun. He liked to see, too, y'know. His gaze shifted to the Pokemon at his side, the Scolipede he had grown up with. They were closer than normal trainers kept their Pokemon. He was more than a pet or partner. No, Strider was like a brother to him. He stopped in his tracks when the dual type tensed up, focusing on a burrowing form a few yards ahead. "Go on, get 'em!" The Scolipede didn't need to be told twice as it was instantly rocketing towards the form, horns glowing, kicking up dirt and dust. There was a cry of pain, and Strider emerged from the dust, seeming proud and pleased of himself.

What a sadist. He liked it.

Letting out a laugh of approval, the two continued on, turning into the Arceus knows what. It was just some random path on or in the mountain. He honestly couldn't tell anymore. Strider tensed up again, and he followed the Pokemon's gaze. Oh, a boy and his Pokemon? No, wait, he knew them. Jakob gave the Scolipede a pat on his head, signalling that the pair were no threat. "Yang, does zhe boss know zhat du are here?" He called out, a cocky smirk plastered on the commander's face.

The smirk widened at the boy's words. Oh? She did now? He let out a low chuckle, taking a few long strides up towards the boy. Once close enough, he plopped down, hanging his legs over the side. Jakob reached up, ruffling the other's hair, whether he liked it or not. It was a little harsher than he could have done, but what did he care? Pain was like sugar to him!

"Y'know, ich hate it vhen people lie to me." He let his hand fall down to his side, moving it behind him to have something to lean back against. His gaze locked on the scenery around him, his smirk falling for the slightest moment. It was brought back when Strider charged down the mountain at the slightest movement down there. He was probably going to go torment some poor soul like always. What a good boy!

He let out a laugh at Yang's reaction, lifting his hand up to ruffle his hair again. This time it was softer, in the more playful manner rather than hurt-because-you-lied manner. "Kid, du need to lighten up!" After a few more moments of pestering the Plasma Grunt, he let his hands fall to his side again. There were some cries of pain from the route below, causing his smirk to widen into a grin. "Looks like Strider found some playmates." He wouldn't be surprised if the Scolipede came back with blood. He had one time, and there were cops on their case the next day. Oh, that was a fun week.

The Scolipede pawed at the ground, the sounds emitting from his throat sounding like he was laughing. No, he did not attack him enough on a daily basis. If he had his way, he would torture him and every other being that crossed his path twenty-four seven. Except for Jakob. He wouldn't dream of harming his master. That was just absurd. A grin formed on the dual-type's usually stoic face when the Milotic Gijinka healed himself. Strider jumped into the air, curling up, and charged towards the Plasma with a steamroller. Why stop the fun because he used recover?

Jakob listened closely to the sounds coming from below. They sounded familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it just yet. Eh, if anything, Strider had it covered. The albino glanced over at the younger Plasma, a frown forming on his face. Tch. This kid was boring. He locked his gaze back on the scenery, the frown turning into a smirk again at the words shouted from below. "Excuse me kid vhile I go see vhat Strider caught." With a hissing laugh, the man slid down the side of the mountain and towards the sound.

Jakob blinks, his smirk widening into a grin at what he saw. Oh, so Strider did catch a Milotic! What a catch! He let out a barking laugh, putting his hands on his hips. He simple watched as the Hydro Pump hit Strider, sending the whirling Pokemon flying back to a nearby tree, the impact snapping it in half. The Scolipede was fine, uncurling himself and shaking off the debris and water. Spotting his trainer, the dual type slinked up to his side, rubbing off the last of the water on to his pants.

"Kesese! Marly, zhat vas just his vay of showing he likes du!" He patted the Pokemon's head, glancing from the Milotic to Yang. "Finally decide to be social, kid?"

Strider huffed, digging into the ground with one of his pointed paw-feet-things. He didn't care that he was being watched. He would do whatever the hell he wanted to make the Milotic miserable. If he wanted to ruin what the man was working on, then by Arceus he would do it.

Jakob snickered, patting the Scolipede's head. He opened his mouth to speak, only to have Yang introduce himself. Well, there went the fun of making up a name for mister gloom. "He's one of the grunts. Cute, ain't he?" He reached over, ruffling the boy's hair, despite knowing he didn't like it. Retracting his hand before it could get whacked off, the albino turned his attention back to Marly. "So, how much longer until this is done?" He stretched, rolling his shoulders. "Once you're done, we should all go do something. Karaoke? Clubbing? Something less boring than this~?"
