PostSubject: Hansel and Gretel   Hansel and Gretel EmptyMon Jul 23, 2012 9:34 pm

Violette here got served a heaping dish full of karma from trying to steal a basket full of berries. She got tossed up in the affairs of a girl/Pokémon hybrid, who was beingd pursuited by not only a group of uniformed people but also another fucked up hybrid who was not as nice as here. Lux, having also tried to steal the basket, got wrapped up in the same mess and was pushed out of a tree by the bitchy hybrid. Several hours later and he's still unconscious and across Vi's shoulder. And as for the third thief, well her life seemed fucked up as it was.

The moral of the story is: Do not steal.

Like, ever.

Currently, our little Three Muskateers were trudging through the woods along Route 1. Well, as said before, only one of them was actually doing to the "trudging". One of them had a nice set of not one, but two pairs of wings. The other, while the bleeding from his face had stopped, was still incapacitated. The extra boost from the girl helped speed things up a bit, but it had worn off long ago and they were still at least two hours from Accumula Town. The boy was probably going to get some brain damage from this. Hell, the two humans were going to have psychiatric problems just from the tramatic expierence.

Then, out of nowhere, there was a sight that made her blink. A cottage hidden in the woods, away from prying eyes. Maybe the person that lives there could do something about her luggage! She motioned to the flying girl to get down then shuffled up to the door. She peeked into the darkened windows. Didn't seem like anyone was home. She tentaviely knocked. Nope, nothing. They must be out, doing who knows what. Carefully, she lowered the boy to the ground, leaning him up against the wooden wall. First, she tried to simply open the door, but like she expected it was locked. Then, she pulled out two small objects from her pocket. Obviously someone didn't learn their lesson.

She glanced back at the girl, placing a finger upon her lip in a universal quiet sign. She turned back to the door, bringing the two objects up to the handle. It seemed a basic enough lock. Nothing a thief like Vi couldn't get past. In a few seconds, she heard a soft click and grinned to no one in particular. Cautiously, she pulled the door open, flooding the abandoned room with sunlight. There, that was simple enough. All she was going to do was look for a few medical supplies. Something to hopefully patch the boy up. Easy in, easy out. She jabbed a finger down at said boy, motioning the other girl over with a nod of her head. She felt a little awkward having to handle two other people in a stealth scenario, but at least one of them could turn invisible. Of course, the other one could do nothing for himself at the moment. She sqashed the urge to sigh, instead slinking into the house. Still no signs of the occupant, but it did seem like someone had been here recently. Now, to find what she was looking for.

How long had they been running? Okay, well, flying in her case. This forest seemed to go on forever! She wouldn't be surprised if they were lost. The girl hummed to herself, clearly not understanding the idea of being quiet while being chased. She continued on until the cottage came into view, ceasing her humming and slowing down her flight speed.

Her eyes watched the human girl's every movement, and she slowly lowered herself to the ground. She blinked, tilting her head to the side as Violette pulled out two small objects and took them to the lock. Wait.. Was she doing? Eh, she didn't know, but it obviously opened the door. Maybe those two objects were the key into the house? Yeah, that was probably it! She continued watching the human, confusion spreading across her face at the hand signals.

What did she want her to do? Jayden glanced down at Lux's unconscious body, staring for a few moments. Eh... She'll just take him inside. Using some of her powers, she strengthened her arms and crouched down, lifting up the boy. Standing back up, she took him inside, folding her wings against her back so that they didn't ram into the door. The Victini scanned the room, moving over to a couch and placing Lux down as carefully as she could. In the process, her Tepig slipped off her head, proceeding to prance around and sniff the area.

Rain had promised herself she wouldn't be gone long. Because bad things always happened when she was out for too long! Plus, she'd left Mattie in the house and he was bound to be hungry!

The Eevee girl lifted her basket, a few of the berries she'd collected rolling off the top. She had way too much, but oh well. Mattie ate everything in sight, due to his being a Teddiursa. She started head back to her home, her large brown ears flicking.

Meanwhile, in the cottage, the Teddiursa left there finally registered that someone was home. He tottered out of Rain's bedroom, looking sleepy. He was expecting Rain to be home with his food, so he could get fed. When he'd wandered out, though, an unfamiliar scent tickled his twitching black nose.

He dropped down on all-fours, padding into the kitchen. The cottage was small, therefore the kitchen was connected to the front of the house, where you'd walk in.

He pressed himself close to the cabinets, understanding that stealth was important, and snuck towards where soft snuffling sounds were heard. The Teddiursa then let out a soft squeak as he nearly ran into the Tepig there, bristling up in surprise and fear. Despite his bear-appearance, he was actually pretty timid when his trainer wasn't around.

OOC: Fyi, Am's brother broke her comp again, so Lux is just gonna be knocked the fuck out for a while :B

Hearing a rustle of movement at the door, Vi whipped around into a defensive position. Her body relaxed when she realized it was only her conscious companion. Who was actually carrying the unconscious one. She really had just wanted her to wait outside, but whatever. He could be on the couch for a few minutes. She slunk around, eyes darting around for the telltale signs of first aid. As her hand was reaching for something, a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach set her even more on edge. Something was wrong. She locked eyes with Fleur, who gave a miniscule nod of the head. They weren't as alone as they were led to believe.

There was a squeak, attracting the duo's attention immediately. "Fleur!" she hissed, but her Pokémon was already on top of the situation. She skittered forward, quickly but comfortingly stroking the startled Teddiursa's face. She made soft noises, quietly shooshing the Pokémon. Slowly, she extended her vines, reaching around the Teddiursa to pet his back. The owner probably left him in the house while they were out. He wasn't a guard Pokémon, but nonetheless, the Snivy was a crafty one. If he made so much as the wrong move, her vines would hog tie him quicker than it could blink. They'd been put in a situation like this often, when doing random break-ins. Fleur knew how to bait this trap. Of course, there's always a margin of error. Especially with the streak they've been having today.

This was probably just the beginning of this league of bad karma.

OOC: Okai! Tell her I hope she gets back soon!

Mattie stared at them with wide eyes, tensing when the grass-type came over to him. He didn't know what to do, and Rain was still out! He relaxed under the comforting touches, giving a quiet little sniffle. Fleur's hand came a bit too close to his mouth, however, and the Teddiursa closed his sharp teeth on the appendage as instinct kicked in.

It was precisely this moment that Rain opened the door, startled to find it unlocked. "Mattie I'm home-" The eevee's eyes widened, the differently-colored irises stranded in a sea of white. Her long, fluffy tail waved. "Who're you?"

Vi let out a sigh of relief. It seemed like her Snivy had the situation under control. But the close call made the looming threat even more pressing. She was going to go check the bathroom, and if nothing was there than they'd split. Too bad the shit hit the fan before that.

The girl didn't find it all the surprising when the person was another one of those hybrids. Karma. It's at moments like this she relied on her Pokémon to use Flash for a quick getaway. But, at the same time she was gawking at the returning owner, the other problem was happening.

"You son of a bitch!" Fleur screeched, instantly shifting into pissed-off mode. The comforting facade was clear out the window, her slitted eyes burning with the fire of Hell. Her vines no longer a consoling touch, but the weapons they were. They struck out, trying to wrap around the small bear's torso to launch him across the room.

The Tepig grunted, lifting up his head when something furry ran into him. "Tep!" The fire pig squealed, circling around the Teddiursa, sniffing the bear like a dog does to someone new. He moved out of the way when the Snivy neared, planting himself on the floor, watching the other two with curiosity. Mister Pig snickered quietly to himself when the bear bit Fleur. Oh, crap, he should probably run. And run he did, under the couch.

Her eyes shifted from the unconscious boy to the movements behind her. She tilted her head to the side, silently watching the three Pokemon. Her lips curled down in a frown, eyes flicking from the owner of the house and back to the Pokemon. She should probably do something, but... Oh, the distractions! Jayden tutted, quickly reaching out to try and pluck up the Teddiursa from the wrath of Fleur.

The Victini then turned on her heels, prancing over to the new girl. "Hi!" She chirped, blue eyes scanning over the owner's features. Oh, another hybrid? Sweet! She giggled, rocking back and forth on her heels. "Sorry for the intrusion, but our friend is hurt!"

Mattie blinked large, innocent eyes at the Snivy before letting out a loud squeal of alarm and panic, flailing in the vines. Rain's eyes widened further. "Mattie!" she squeaked.

When the strange-looking Victini girl came over, she seemed to shy away, looking at her okemon squirming in the girl's arms. "Er..." She seemed distressed. What else would she do if someone broke in her house?

"A-ah, okay... Pl-please calm down." she added, her ears flattening.

Jayden tilted her head, blue eyes observing the Eevee Gijinka. She really hadn't met another of her kind before. Was she made through the labcoats as well? If so, then she wanted to know how she escaped! Wait, wait, wait. No. Bad Jayden. Now was not the time to let your mind wander.

Oh, look! More berries!

Her eyes instantly traveled down to the basket of berries her nose had alerted her to, blinking. Man, it always came back to a basket of berries, didn't it? With a giggle, the Victini held out the Teddiursa. The girl would want her Pokemon back, right? Right! She wasn't going to carry the poor thing all day.

"Do you have any medical supplies?" She asked, flexing her wings before letting them fold up against her back again. She might as well ask. They needed to treat Lux's wounds! Oh, she still needed to ask exactly how he was knocked out, but the details could be addressed later.

Vorpal, at the moment, was running stealthily through the woods, keeping tabs on everything that moved, dodging everything from a web meant for his capture to a simple falling leaf. Especially leaves. He'd definitely learn to dodge those. In his mouth was a brown paper bag, something rattling around inside it. It sounded to him like a box of some sort. Vorpal was currently trying to track Lux and the group. The good thing was that the scent was getting fresher and fresher, until it opened into a clearing and a new scent accompanied the rest; Eevee and human. The cottage door was open, and standing in its door was just that. Two in one, actually. There're are a lot of these now... He thought, slinking away into the bushes for a moment to observe.

"Blood ALL OVER MY FACE." Lux moaned, scowling. He tried to sit up, but found that his body simply wouldn't respond to his commmand. "Are you serious?" He gave a cough. When he opened his eyes... Wait... He'd opened his eyes, right? Yes. The air was cool against his sore eyes. Except everthing was deep gray.

"I can't see."

Today just wasn't Vi's day. Like, talk about a shit storm. She scooped up her riley Pokémon, restraining Fleur from putting the hurt on the Teddiursa. She stroked her sleek head, trying to calm down the infuriated Snivy. With a hiss, she wormed her way out of her Trainer's grasp and slithered up to her shoulder. She glared at the Teddiursa across the room, grumbling, "You'll rue the day you messed with me."

The girl peeked over the couch, hearing some pissy moaning. "Well good morning, buttercup," she chuckled, "You look terrible, by the way." She pursed her lips. At least he seemed responsive. Not like he had brain damage or something else. She spoke to soon. "Don't worry, it's probably only temporary. That can happen from too much head trauma." At least, she hoped it was only temporary.

Oh, fuckberries.

((SNICK. IS THAT MARY IN YOUR SNIGNATURE? 'CAUSE IF IT IS I WANNA BURN IT.))

Rain stared at the other gijinka, her ears flattening against her head. She noticed the male when he moved, her whole body bristling. Her fluffy tail grew in size, showing her discomfort and alarm. She scooped Mattie up, the Teddiursa clinging to his trainer.

The question made her pause. "Er... I have.... Bandages. Bandages medical supplies, yes?" she asked. Her English was broken due to the fact that she was frightened and her brain didn't want to work right.

Mattie stared at the Snivy and her trainer, his grip tightening on Rain. "Don't harm Rain!" he growled, narrowing his black eyes.

Jeez, what was it with all this tension? She didn't like it. Someone should sing. Singing always made the atmosphere better! Pushing the childish thoughts aside, her own ears perked up at the Eevee girl's voice. Aw, she's frightened! That's so cute, even though they were harmless! Except for the Snivy, but-- Wait, she shouldn't be thinking about this right now. Jayden giggled, nodding to the girl. "Yes, bandages are medical supplies."

Rain gulped slightly, nervous and timid around these strangers. "Ah, okay..." she said slowly. "I go get them for you, yes? You no hurt Mattie?" she asked. The Teddiursa nuzzled his trainer lovingly, then glared at the Snivy. Now that his trainer was here, and she was scared, he started feeling protective, and growled slightly, showing his sharp little teeth.

"Head trauma? Then how come I wasn't blind when we first met?" Lux was still cracking jokes. It'd take a lot more than getting kicked in the face and bleeding nearly endlessly from the wounds from which it oozed to get him to shu'up.

His sight was beginning to grow lighter with each second, anyway. He was pretty sure he'd be able to see soon. Lux sat up, stretching his arms out like a zombie.

"Dude. Can I get something to get the blood off?" His left hand gave a little squeamish spazz. Lux turned his head, giving it a shake.

"Where're we? Did you guys break into someone's freakin' house or something?"

Not much could get him to shut up. Not much at all.

Lux felt around for his bag. After a few moments of failure, his fingers found the rough blue fabric and he hoisted it up. Apparently, though, he'd grabbed it wrong, for something half-slid out of the bag; he couldn't see the metal glinting. It was most likely another one of his trinkets, something silver and stained red, possibly by his own blood in the struggle. In a split second, he'd flipped the bag over, bringing it to him right-side up.

Jayden shook her head, giggling. "Don't worry! I'll make sure the others don't hurt him." Her attention was drawn from the Eevee girl to Lux, her ears flicking back and forth. She felt kind of guilty since it was her fault they were in this mess. If she hadn't taken the basket in the first place, she wouldn't have dragged the two humans into her personal problems. Oh, wait, wouldn't this put the new Gijinka in possible danger as well? ... Crap.

Gulping at the thought, Jayden opened her mouth to answer the temporarily blind boy. "We're in miss--" She paused, blinking a couple of times. Her eyes traveled over to the stranger. They didn't know her name yet... "We're in a kind girl's house!" Her voice chirped, and the feathers on her wings ruffled a bit.

The Eevee's ears perked up just slighty at that, evident relief on her face. She hugged her Teddiursa tighter. "I-I go get bandages for you," she said quickly, turning to scurry off into the house. However, spotting her old radio, she couldn't resist turning it on, nervously glancing at the others, as if to make sure it was okay. The music soothed her and made her mind less frizzed.
She went off to get the rolls of bandages, coming back in time to hear the other girl's statement. "O-oh... My name is Rain," she mumbled, holding the bandages out. "And this is Mattie."

“Oh har har, very funny,” she snorted, turning her nose away from Lux. She patted his head a bit roughly, just to mess with the smartass boy. “Nah, beaten up is a good look for you.” She looked towards the two half-Pokémon girls across the room, studying them with interest. Seriously, how in the world were human-Pokémon hybrids appearing? And really, three in one day? That’s just. . .Too weird. But whatever, karma’ll be bitchin’. She “s’up nodded” to the Eevee girl, greeting, “Call me Vi.” She tilted her head towards the Snivy—who was staring intently at the blue-haired boy’s bag—adding, “And this rambunctious Pokémon is Fleur.”

Lux waved his arms a little. "Hey, watch it." He mumbled, running his own fingers through his hair and blinking. He chuckled.

"Hiya, Rain. If I could see you." He placed his bag to the side. Lux brought his hand to his face, snapping in front of his eyes as if they'd switch back to being able to see at the sound. Sighing, he leaned back on his bag, not exactly caring what he looked like. The funny thing that came along with sightlessness was that you simply didn't care about how the world saw you, since you couldn't see it, like there was a knife severing the fucks one gave about being blind.

He rested his head against the back of the couch, the thoughts swirling through his mind, already planning and preparing for future blindness, coming up with plans for every outcome, whether he was conscious of them or not. The radio switched from its current song to a talk show of some sort. A news report or something. Someone was dead, yadda, yadda, big surprise. It slightly bothered him that it was a young girl that had been found, so he decided to cease listening and allowing the thoughts to plague his consciousness.

Vorpal chose this moment to trot through the open door, nose twitching at all the smells. His tail was held fairly stiffly, not enjoying being in the company of so many others. Already, this journey thing seemed wrong to him. It irritated him, even. Vorpal swiftly made it to the couch, holding the battered paper bag out to Lux, casting the newest spliced freak of nature a wary glance.

"Vorpal? S'that you? That is you, right?"

Vorpal frowned, and then realized that his trainer was momentarily blind. Slightly taken aback, Vorpal placed the bag on his lap.

Lux took the bag in his hands, feeling a single box, about the size of a smart phone, maybe bigger. He couldn't help but remember the murder as he noticed the radio switch back to playing songs.

"Wow, where'd this come from? You didn't nick it, did'ja? Man, I hope you did." Lux grinned.

The Dewott cocked his head, wearing a slightly annoyed face as Lux shoook the bag rather characteristically.

She rocked back and forth on her heels, blue eyes flicking from person to person. Man! There were so many people she had met today! Hehe, she hoped they would all become friends instead of just random strangers she dragged into her little problem. Hm, maybe she should repay them? She didn't have any money... Eh, she can worry about that later.

Her ears twitched, picking up the short name exchange. "Oh! I'm Jayden!" She chirped, raising her hand. She might as well give her name. She hadn't done that yet, had she? ... Or... Maybe she did... Eh, she couldn't remember. Regardless, little Rain didn't know her name! There. Case closed.

Rain jumped slightly, not expecting the male to speak. The eevee blinked then, starting over to him. She noticed an Oshawott near him, and her ears twitched. Wasn't there a Tepig and Snivy in here too? All three starters from Nuvema Town? She supposed that was where they were from...

That thought triggered a memory in her, but it was hazy and she quickly dismissed it. She crouched next to the boy. "U-um, I bandage you?" she asked, prepared to flee if he was hostile. Mattie had followed her, having been put on the ground. The small bear Pokemon, curious, wandered up to the boy and his Oshawatt, sniffing in curiosity.

The Dewott gave Rain a long, hard stare, as if somehow aware that the role player of the Eevee girl had called him something other than what he really was... But no, that would be ridiculous. We don't break the fourth wall around here like that... Do we? He turned his attention back to Lux, only to be sniffed. Vorpal's tail lifted suddenly and stiffly, his pupils contracting. Clenching his little paws in irritation, he tried as hard as he could to hide his discomfort.

"Hm? Oh... Yeah. Yeah, sure. That'd probably help a shitload." Lux grinned weakly. He placed the bag to the side and moved to the edge of his seat in order to make the job easier for Rain. He blinked a few times. Things were beginning to have fuzzy, dark shapes. It looked as if his vision was well on its way back again.

One of Vorpal's little fists began to shake. Sighing, he looked down at the Pokemon called Mattie. "Dew, dewott, dew?"

"Is there something that I could perhaps do for you?" He mumbled in Pokemon language, his eyes glowing sinisterly.

You know, for breaking and entering, it seemed that everything was going to be all right. The way things have been going, she was surprised that a meteor or some shit didn’t fall on the house. So before shit hit the fan again, she banished the thoughts that could very well summon their doom. Instead, she focused her attention on—Nope, not escaping karma today, bitch!

Do you recall the “meteor or some shit” that Vi thought about?

Unbeknownst to our heroes—who bring a whole new meaning to the term—a dangerous presence lurked high above their heads. It had been perched over the group the entire time they traveled, as if there was a homing beacon on their location. And when they stopped in the quaint little cottage, it started to descend with a fiery hot determination. It fell upon the wooden roof with enough force to break through it, dropping itself onto the poor boy lying on the couch.

Dusting splinters and sawdust off of himself, Kane nonchalantly said, “S’up?”

"WHAT THE FUCK-" Lux covered his head hastily, spitting out saw dust and failing to deflect most of the debris that was raining down from the ceiling. A cold weight settled itself on him, and he began to move his arms in a panic mode. If this went on for any longer...

Lux stopped all movement upon hearing the attack dog's voice again. Panic backed up in his heart for a second. Damnit! But of course he'd find us, he snarled angrily in his mind. The snarl translated to a scowl. He kicked his feet as best as he could; he could feel his muscles begin to lock up.

Spitting out some saw dust from the ceiling, he looked around blindly. "Mm." He mumbled, trying to fight his phobia, but his heart was growing tighter and tighter in his chest with every second, lungs curling in on themselves and holding what little breath they could in.

"WOTT!" The Dewott shouted angrily, bursting out of a pile of wood. He had something in his fist. With lightning quick movements, Vorpal jumped on the demon's head and jammed something in Lux's mouth, hastily grabbing the top of his head and his jaw and forcing him to chew.

"AGHMFF-" More surprises. Great. What else could possibly be more surprising than the events that just occurred? Nothing Lux could think of.

Rain had knelt and was starting to deal with the boy's wounds when, tada, all of a sudden, the ceiling collapsed! The poor Eevee girl let out a small squeak, scrambling backwards on instinct. Her ears flattened to her head, her multi-colored eyes watering from the sawdust. She coughed. "Wh-what's going on?" she asked meekly, tail bushed up and trembling. Mattie was growling and on all-fours, baring his sharp teeth at the newcomer.

Then, seeing Lux struggling, Rain started moving to help him, grabbing at the debris of her roof and pulling. Oh why did fate have to be so cruel?
